On behalf of the Scientific Committee of the Conference and the authorities of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Art, we are pleased to invite you to the 2nd edition of the international conference in the series

“Open Mind – Transdisciplinary Spaces in Pedagogy and Art.”

Conference venue:
Faculty of Social Sciences and Art University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz (6 Chruślicka Street, Nowy Sącz, Poland)

Thematic sections – presentations are expected in the following areas:

  • pedagogy, including special education
  • speech therapy
  • resocialization pedagogy
  • preschool and early school education
  • art, including its connections with various areas of education and therapy for children/students

  • University of Prešov in Prešov

Conference objectives:

  • presentation of current scientific achievements and research results in pedagogy (and its sub-disciplines) and art, as well as their interrelations
  • creating a scientific space for deepening knowledge, networking, and gaining inspiration for further activities in the fields of pedagogy and art
  • exploring innovative methods of teaching, education, and therapy that enable effective educational and didactic work

  • academic teachers
  • teachers from preschools, schools, and psychological-pedagogical counseling centers
  • employees of educational and therapeutic institutions
  • parents
  • students

Organizational notes:

  • the conference is free of charge
  • accommodation costs are not covered by the organizer (it is possible to request accommodation booking via the registration form)
  • conference languages: Polish and English (simultaneous translation will be provided)
